“MANIC POSER” is an anagram for “Erin Campos.” I could have also gone with “Ion Campers” but I felt the former had a better ring to it.
There are a few things in this world I am in love with:
FASHION. Everything about it excites me. It creates identity. Or destroys it. Whichever you prefer. You dress how you feel & how you want the world to see you - or not see you. (I quite enjoy having multiple identities.) I am a fashion buyer by profession. And yes, I dream of owning all of my selections. But I buy for all of you - so I hope you enjoy the fashion I will share with you here.
TRAVEL. I like going places, meeting interesting people (I tend to ignore the boring ones), discovering cultural differences & learning to appreciate them. I like beaches & sunny places. But I also love old cities - I am often times overwhelmed by the history that has walked their streets.
FOOD. I like discovering new restaurants, new flavors, & amazing dishes. I am a fan of healthy eating. Not a fan of preservatives. But sometimes I do enjoy a good burger. Or a slice of pizza. Oh, & I love truffle oil. It just makes everything taste better.
READING. I enjoy being entertained by novels in general - mystery, adventure, or science fiction. Or informed by historical ones. But I really love books with underlying philosophical insights - you know, the ones that “change” you. The ones that blow your mind. Milan Kundera is my favorite author.
MUSIC. I can totally judge you by your taste in music alone or by the contents of your iPod. (As you are welcome to judge me.) My preferences can be described as eclectic. I enjoy classical music. I love decades and decades of rock music. Vocal house relaxes me. And then there’s music I like to dance to….
Like most people, I like to be right - (but not) all the time. Because sometimes, I do enjoy being proven wrong.
